NEW DELHI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has officially announced his next film, titled “King,” during a Q&A session at the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. The film, an action-packed venture directed by Sujoy Ghosh, will see Khan in a new avatar, as he revealed that he will need to lose weight for the role. There are also rumors that his daughter, Suhana Khan, will star alongside him in the movie.

The announcement came on the heels of Shah Rukh Khan receiving the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera award, also known as the Career Leopard award, at the festival on Saturday. This accolade celebrates his significant contributions to global cinema and his enduring influence in the film industry.
